Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay in Al Khobar, I found the location of the hotel to be quite advantageous, nestled conveniently along the main road and surrounded by numerous cafes and restaurants, some of which remain open until the wee hours. This is fantastic for those looking for a midnight snack or a cozy spot to unwind after exploring the city. It's clear that the hotel's design has seen better days; the establishment has not been renovated in quite some time, and it detracted from my overall experience. The cleanliness of the rooms and bathrooms left much to be desired. On the plus side, the staff were friendly and professional, with one receptionist impressively handling check-ins and inquiries promptly despite being the only one at the desk. While the panoramic views overlooking Al Khobar Corniche and the city are noteworthy, the overall service quality suffered, with several essential amenities having to be requested multiple times. Unless significant upgrades are undertaken, I would say the hotel is more suited for a brief stay focused primarily on its enviable location rather than comfort or luxury.
